Things to Be Thankful For

Be thankful for the clothes that fit a little too snug, because it means you have enough to eat.

Be thankful for the mess you clean up after a party, because it means you have been surrounded by friends.

Be thankful for the taxes you pay, because it means that you're employed.

Be thankful that your lawn needs mowing and your windows need fixing, because it means you have a home.

Be thankful for your heating bill, because it means you are warm.

Be thankful for the laundry, because it means you have clothes to wear.

Be thankful for the space you find at the far end of the parking lot, because it means you can walk.

Be thankful for the lady who sings off-key behind you in church, because it means you can hear.

Be thankful people complain about the government, because it means we have freedom of speech.

Be thankful for the alarm that goes off in the early morning hours, because it means you're alive.

Happy Thanksgiving Everybody!

Diamonds on my windshield.......

Diamonds on my windshield
Tears from heaven
Pulling into town on the Interstate
Pulling a steel train in the rain
The wind bites my cheek through the wing
Fast flying, freway driving
Always makes me sing

I need blue teeth!!
I have been looking everywhere for a stupid Bluetooth USB device, nobody seems to have one in stock, damit!!

Monday Morning, you sure look fine!

What a fun weekend! It all started with Halloween on Friday night. I had a few gin and tonics and played the creepy organ near the front door. This while scary sounds belted out of the computers' speakers in the next room. We had a pretty good turnout of trick-n-treaters, with a fare share of left over candy. I was able to save an entire bag of snickers!

Marina went out with Lisa and April. They were gone quite a while covering some ground, hunting for candy. Veronica was at Kristen's house for a Halloween party. I was worried cause they had planned to go out trick or treatin and I was not sure about what adult was also going. Sorry, she's only 10, not old enough to be out at night alone, even on hallows eve.

Saturday was fun too. Carl, Stef and the kids came by and we hung around and had fun. I got some crab that was really yummy and went well with the bloody marys! We all ate too much the went for an evening walk. This was kinda fun, the kids went crazy and I am sure we could be heard coming blocks away!

And here we are, Monday morning. We have workers in our backyard cutting down trees and getting ready to fix our backyard. I am really looking forward to a nicer backyard. Lisa will be happier (I hope) with her yard looking nice. I need to get a gate installed to control the doggy doo-doo. It will be nice this winter to because we are adding more cement along with the grass which means less mud! (yeh!)

Well, that's it for now. Photos have been added via buzznet to your right. I now have a camera phone and can upload my photos to buzznet right from my phone. To the right are the top four (most recent) images on my photolog web site.

Have a great Monday!
